Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
The Mississippi Genealogy & History Network is seeking a County Director to
creat a genealogical web site under the ospicies og MSGHN.
MSGHN is a history genealogy network that operates in Mississippi
exclusively. We are not a National organization. We devote all our
energies to collecting and posting information and data about Mississippi
Knowlege of and an interest in Alcorn County is a neccessity. Some web site
creation skills would be helpful. If you already havebuilt a family site,
then you qualify. As a volunteer, you manage your time and post as often as
you wish or are able.
If you enjoy working with computers and graphics and are interested in
helping researchers seeking free information about their ancestors, then we
have a place for you among congenial, friendly people that love Mississippi.
