I'm working on James A. Joslin (1835-1902) and wife Mariah Brown (1837-1923). Both are buried in Alcorn County in Hopewell Cemetery.
I've seen a couple of places that state Mariah was a Dancer, but the Hunting for Bears marriage lists her as Mariah Brown. Also the funeral records of one of their children states her mother was Myra Brown. Since James died in 1902, I'm assuming Mariah probably remarried. Does anyone know?
I'm also trying to piece together their children. Joseph, who married three times, is really causing trouble. Anyone researching him?
