Worcester has a super research centre in the middle of the town An old
shop. Very helpful open Mon to Sat incl. Near public transport. Well
worth a visit and not too far from Gwent. Good luck. Trish

My great grandfather, Henry Hall, born 1837 in Worcester, was living in
Abergavenny in the 1881 census.
He was married to Mary Anne Jones, and had children in Tintern in 1860,
Blaina in 1867 and later in Abergavenny.
Does anyone have access to the 1851 and/or 1861/1871 censuses, who could
look up Henry Hall with particular reference to his place of birth - does
being born in Worcester mean Worcester City, or Worcestershire. Perhaps he
gave more precise information in earlier censuses.
I am searching for Henry's parents.
Thanks in advance.
Cliff Weeks
