Greetings Lynne
Have you had a look at a program called Mail Washer? It's a Kiwi program
and
free - see
www.MailWasher.com. While it is designed to elimiante spam
it
has
the advantage of being able to look at any suspicious emails before
it
hits
your system in other words it stays in the MailWasher system until
you
decide what you want to download. You can then delete and bounce without
being infected. I think it is fabulous - my spam emails have dropped right
back. Of course I also have. the Norton anti virus system installed.
I think the system you suggested where you use a prefix can get a bit
clumsy
and makes it difficult to scan what emails you want to look at. I
assume
that you are not using the digest form for receiving list emails - this
would also obviate the necessity for prefixes.
All the best
