Subject: Worcestershire History Centre is closing to move to The Hive!
Dear All,
In January Worcestershire Record Office combined with Worcestershire
Historic Environment and Archaeology Service to become a new joint service -
Worcestershire Archive and Archaeology Service. We are moving into a new
building - The Hive - which will enable us to provide a wider range of
resources to our users as a new joined-up service. The Hive will open to the
public in July 2012. This will be a very exciting move for us, as it means
Worcestershire's archive resources will be held together in one building for
the first time.
Please be aware that Worcestershire History Centre, at Trinity Street,
Worcester, will be closing to the public on Saturday 21st April 2012 in
order to prepare for this move. After 21st April, our contact number of
01905 765922 will carry over to The Hive, so please do continue to contact
us on this number and pass it on to the general public. The address of The
Hive is as follows:
The Hive
Sawmill Walk
The Butts
Worcester
WR1 3PB
Please advise any customers that may wish to use Worcestershire Archive and
Archaeology Service of our new details.
Please use the contact number for further information as I am just passing
this on
