Hi Rita
I remember there being Hyatts living in Upper Cwmbran in the 50's, the lads
name was Ronnie or Ronald. They lived down in the Woodlands which is no
longer there now, I belive they were knocked down and Thornhill built there.
Glynn Tucker.

Subject: HYATT, GREY and ROBERTS
Just rejoined after a long break and thought I had betterlet listers
know
my
interests.
Job HYATT bn Batsford, Glos. 1844 m. Annie DAVIES bn 1847 from Llangibley.
He was a railway goods guard living in Llanvrechva and they had no
children.
Job's will says that he left his money to his
"adopted niece Nora Tryphena GREY, wife of Walter GREY a Captain in the
Royal Household Artillery of H.M. Army". Since Job had a real neice by
the
name of Nora Tryphena (born STYLES) I am wondering if his use of the
word
"adopted" was a mistake.
Job's nephew: Alfred Gill HYATT, bn 1858 Moreton in Marsh, Glos. m.
Harriet ROBERTS in Pontypool June 1882. Job was also a goods guard on the
railways living in Llanvrechva.
Job and Harriet had the following children:
Emma HYATT bn 1884
Annie HYATT bn 1886
Alice HYATT bn 1888
Minnie HYATT bn 1892
Bessie HYATT bn 1894
I do know that Harriet had died before the 1901 census, but would
appreciate
any information on these people.
Many thanks
Rita
in sunny Melbourne.
