Hi Heather
Gwent FHS have a marriage index 1813-1837 for Monmouthshire (as it was
called then) on fiche. They are at:
http://www.rootsweb.com/~wlsgfhs/Sales/Main.htm
I have a copy but unfortunately I can't do a look-up for you for a few days
as I don't have a reader so I have to take the fiche to a library whenever I
want to use it.

Subject: Marriage between William Humphreys and Anne Williams
Hello List
I have been searching for years for a very elusive marriage. Is there a
pre 1837
booklet or micro fiche for early marriage for Gwent, please? They
are not on the Glamorganshire one.
Anne Williams was born on Tir Twppa Farm, Treharris near Merthyr Tydfil
around
1798.
William Humphreys was baptised at Llanfabon Parish Church Glamorgan
on 1st
May 1796. They are both buried in Berthlwyd Burial Ground Quakers Yard which
is a Baptist Chapel. Their youngest son became an English Baptist minister
Mary their first child was born in 1818. William Humphreys was a weaver by
trade.
Thank you
All the best
