I agree - this list is very quiet - and I have never found anyone with my
interests - but I will try again - especially as I have a new one to add!
1) Edwin John HULBERT born Hawkesbury Glos Dec 1848 married and moved to
Cwmbran - my grndfather had an address for his family at a place called St
Woollos. FreeBMD has an entry for his wife remarrying in the 1890s - her
name was Cordelia HULBERT nee Gaisford. Their sone Lewis was a career
soldier, dying in 1917 at Doullens in France (Vimy Ridge) as a
Quartermaster
Sergeant.
2) My grandmother's uncle known as Seabright WILCOX (first name William -
but not known by that as far as I know) was a hairdresser who had a shop in
Cheltenham - but in the 1901 census was listed as living /working in
Newport
(age 25) - has anyone any connection to him/ knowledge of him?
Marilyn
