Hi Joanne
According to the PRO catalogue,
http://catalogue.pro.gov.uk/
HO 107/750 PARISH: Bedwelty, TOWNSHIP: Ishlawrcoed, Mamhole or Manmoel,
Ushlawrcoed
I am not sure which of the three townships covers Tredegar, and the
catalogue does not break down to the next level of detail. However, Tredegar
is certainly in Bedwelty parish. Piece 750 covers 7 parishes in all and
Bedwelty is the last parish on the piece.
Hope that helps
David in Hertford, England

Subject: 1841 Census Request
Dear List,
I went to our local LDS FH center [a very nice new cone] to order the 1841
census for the Tredegar [or Bedwellty parish] area, BUT I was presented
with
a nice long list of piece-folio numbers and no indication district
names.
Does anyone have access to an index that describes the locality for each
folio or piece and could tell which apply to Tredegar or Bedwellty?
Thanks for your help!
Blessings,
Joanne Snyder, Tampa, searching
