Hi there - the Phillimore index of parish registers (1995 edition, since
updated) shows that
Mynyddislwyn parish registers deposited at Gwent CRO run from 1656 - 1933,
and there are local marriage indexes covering 1754 - 1837
Also some of the parish entries are available (via FamilySearch, the Mormon
web-site, for free) , as they are included in the IGI - dates 1717-1842
Hope this helps
Regards
Anita

Hello
Yes - I did search through the Mynyddislwyn records in Cwmbran County
Records
Office - but I'm afraid I cant remember how far back they went, but
am pretty sure they would cover this date. If you give the office a call I'm
sure they will send you a leaflet or let you know what facilities they have
there.
