My 3g-gps William and Mary VAUGHAN lived at this farm until sometime between
1852 and 1871 (the 1861 census for the farm is missing and William was
living with his son in Vaynor, BRE in 1871). Mary VAUGHAN (d. July 1852)'s
grave is in the Saron Baptist Chapel Cemetery which you can see from the
farmhouse across the fields. On the same headstone as her is the following
inscription: "In Memory of my dear husband David M Morgan, Gwynedd who was
laid to rest Feb 1st 1846 aged 76." I am trying to figure out the connection
with this David M Morgan and my 3g-gm - it was quite a shock when I found a
David MORGAN of exactly the right age living at the Wern farm in 1881!! If
he is buried in the same grave surely there must be more than just a
property connection!?!
