Hello All,
Ebbw Vale Branch of Gwent Family will be taking the Rassau walk
( once Breconshire) on Thursday 27th July. This walk hasn't been done
for a few years and we felt it would be a break from the Beaufort walk
which took in all the area of Beaufort, old chapels, churches and Iron
works, etc.
Roger Burchell will be conducting the walk, as usual, and maps and notes
will be available same as the Beaufort walk last July.
Anyone interested to meet at Rhyd-y-Blew car park, Beaufort 6.30pm on
July 27th and then on to the Castle Pub, Rassau. The walk will be
approximately 2 hours. Bring a strong pair of shoes and rainproof coat,
umbrella just in case of rain, a strong possibility after our recent dry
spell;))
Back to the Rhyd- y- Blew Inn about 9pm for a pie, pint or pastie,
etc:))
all the best
Barrie Jones, Gwent
