I think we need to clear the record on something here. I was very
surprised to see my name mentioned in this way on the list, so I went
back through the archives to see what was going on. Mike, I am not the
person who did this. His name appears to be Michael B. George, and he
has an AOL-based e-mail address. None of this came from me. I don't
have an AOL account, and I would never post messages such as this to the
list. I commend you for all the good work you are doing, and I know you
have made many valuable contributions to the list. I did not object to
anything you said about your baptismal transcriptions and I did not receive
a private e-mail from you about the transcripts, and if I had, I would not
post it to the list without your permission. And I have not blocked your e-
mail address.
Just wanted to set the record straight. I am Michael Thompson. I live in
Colorado, USA. My grandmother was born in Mynyddyslwyn and I have
been researching my ancestors. I've had a lot of good information from
people on this list and I appreciate it.

Dear Mr Thompson or is it Tom Thumb
I see you have blocked my email address. But more impportantly
I noticed your thread to a post I sent this morning re: the fact I
placed the baptismal records for Blaenavon 1814 - 1837 on my website.
Are you having trouble entering my website, because I can assure you,
you can get in for nothing.
As to your unbalanced comment about ladies of the night. Your are out
of order, and I find your language quite offensive.
Sorry about the tone of my email, but it is the only way I can reply
to my namesake.
