Bedwellty PR's were 'transcribed' by David Woolven of Newport and copies
of these are at Cwmbran C.R.O as well as the originals. David has
deposited them with S.O.G. as well and his listings are also sent to
Family Tree Magazine regularly.
David has given permission to Mike John of Newport to put onto his
website:-
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~monfamilies/
all of the BT's that have been transcribed by David and also included
are Mike John's own transcriptions.
Unfortunately Bedwellty (St Sannan) are not on his site (as yet).
Certain people have told me they are going to transcribe St Sannan
(Bedwellty) as a free site. Not sure if it is ongoing!
Gwent FHS will undoubtedly transcribe the PR's sometime I suppose.
Unfortunately we have more takers than doers, as usual!
best regards

Hope this isn't a silly question, but are there any copies of
these
available online/on fiches/film etc other than going to Gwent Record
Office, or NLW or SOG? If there are, could someone tell me how to
get hold of a copy or access to them as I have a lot of family who
should appear in these registers.
Thanks
Cate
