G'day
The Yew Tree was (hopefully still is) the pub that my great-uncle Tom said
that my grandmother would like us all to be in rather than standing at the
lych gate of the churchyard on the day of her burial.

Subject: [Mon] Troed-y-rhiw Farm, Mamhilad
Hi Listers,
Has anyone out there any info on Troed-y-rhiw Farm Mamhilad where my
ancestor Thomas Jenkins lived and farmed in the 1800's. In his will dated
1874, after making various bequests to family, he mentions his property in
the parish of Llantarnum called Tyn-y-pwll and also the freehold public
house called The Yew Tree situated in Trevethin together with three freehold
cottages near Trevethin Church. Any info would be appreciated.
