Hello Steve,

Hi All
Does anyone know if there's available a transcript of Aberystruth parish
registers covering the early 19th Century?
Looking for baptism of Edward Edwards (Ag Lab) around 1807 and marriage to
Hannah Morgan (of Merthyr Tydfil) some 20-odd years later.
It's a long way from Norfolk to Library of Wales!
Thanks in anticipation.

Richard Roynon and myself have transcribed the Parish Registers of many
areas
surrounding the Eastern Valley of Gwent, which includes that of
Aberystruth,
Llanwenarth, Usk, Monkswood, Nantyglo, etc.
Will get back to you as soon as possible.

Hallo,
I also would like to know if anyone can help me with the Parish Registers in
and around Aberystruth and Nantyglo and like Steve Ecclestone its a long way
from Suffolk to Wales. I am looking for an Edward Maddy and his father and
mother.
I am also looking for an Evan and Elizabeth Maddy in the 1861 Census
possibly living around this area. Evan had connects in Bedwellty. They
returned to Breconshire by 1871 but possibly moved out of Breconshire from
1851-1871.
Thanking you in anticipation.
Regards,
Sue in Suffolk
