Just a little hiccup in my recent email. Due, no doubt to copying and
pasting. Never works properly does it? The url for Ancestry is out
of place. It is NOT free.
Best wishes

Hi.
Ancestry.com should give you the index references for the probate
for 1937, from which you ought to be able to take that information
and apply for the will at the Probate Registry. For further
information go to
"<http://www.justice.gov.uk/courts/probate/copies-of-grants-wills>http://www.justice.gov.uk/courts/probate/copies-of-grants-wills
I have applied for many wills from Australia and have found each and
every one to have been worth the while. State Libraries also have
microfiche or microfilm of the probate indexes from which you may
glean the details which include where and when the deceased died or
last known address and date, profession, age, whether probate or
administration and the names and addresses of executors.
If you do not have
Ancestry.com at home on your computer, many
libraries in Australia both State, Family History Societies, and LDS
(Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) will have it for free
at
<

otherwise some kind soul on the list may check it out for you and
find the references.
Good fortune in your searching.
