I am a new lister so hope my request is not unreasonable. I would
like to know the memorial inscription on Grave No "Con A 47 76" at St.
Woolos Cemetery. Mary Ann WILKINS (Minnie) aged 77 was interned on
14.3.1945 and her will requested that she be buried with her late
husband George WILKINS and that a suitable memorial be erected.
Newport Cemetery Clerk has advised me that she is buried with George
who was intered on 13.12.1900 and have given me the above Grave No and
advised that George's last address was "Bryn Ivor" Clytha Park.
Free BMD site lists a death for George WILKINS aged 61 Dec.Qtr. 1900.
Until I found this entry I had thought that she had married George's
son, George Henry but he appears to have died aged 29 March Qtr 1896.
Before I apply for death certificate and will I would like to know
what the memorial inscription is. Did she marry father or son?
Any help greatly appreciated.
