Well after much searching and realising that the 1881 census was full of
errors when reporting my Grandmother's family, I finally have what I think
is hopefully, my correct Davies family. Still not absolutely sure if William
Davies was born in Llanvair or Llanafan however, since records often show
him having been born in one or the other or both.
I must offer many thanks to Pam Thornbury who helped me sort it all out and
for looking at previous and later census reports.
