Hi Jack
Monmouthshire courts were in the Oxford circuit at one time. Have you considered TEDDER
and TUDOR and spelling variations?
A quick look at FMP for period prior 1729 brought up only a few and those were in Bristol
and London George Tedder

George Tedder was accused of stealing a horse harness in Llanwern and found guilty in an
ENGLish trial held in Monmouthshire. I understand he was transported to either VA or MD,
USA in 1729. I would most appreciate knowing exactly where he was born, who and where he
was indentured, and where he lived and worked following this indenture period..I am a
lawyer, but don't know beans about English records or where to find out moe about this
chap who could have been my gggg? Grandfather?
Thanks so much!
