Hi ,
Many thanks to Sue and Keith for taking the time and trouble to track down
my Edmund LLOYD.
He was found on the 1841 census for Monmouthshire - in gaol, as a debtor,
age 60 years.
May I again kindly ask the list for assistance in trying to trace Edmund
LLOYD on
the 1851 census for Monmouthshire?
I would be very grateful for any information please.
Thank you,
Tony

Subject: [Mon] Census Look up
Hi All
Would some kind person please help me track down my ggg grandfather,
EDMUND LLOYD?
I believe he was born in Carmarthen late 1700s I guess,
but married in Pantegue Pontypool 1818. He married Eliza Harris and had
six
children one also called Edmund who was born in 1825.
I have found Eliza Lloyd his wife in the 1841 census, she had her children
with her but no husband.
I have found Eliza Lloyd in the 1851 census, she was living in Pontypool
working as a living in housekeeper to a solicitor, but no sign of her
husband.
It says she was married on the census. Eliza died 1852 age 53.
Eliza was on poor relief in the 1830s I have an settlement document.
I have never found EDMUND LLoyd in any census. I have a feeling he may
have been in gaol or done a bunk.
I would appreciate any help, I have been searching for some years..
Thank you Tony.
