In case anyone else is tempted to do so, I have submitted a correction
request to FreeBMD citing the Ancestry image of the page. It may take a
month or two for the correction to reach the database.
This is from one of the older transcriptions on FreeBMD, from July 2001,
amended January 2002, and was transcribed from fiche. [No, I'm not going to
tell you how I found that out] FreeBMD is in the process of transcribing
pages for a second time from improved images. As a completely volunteer
organisation FreeBMD is always recruiting new transcribers who can work
accurately to the FreeBMD guidelines.
