Hi Les,
Do you know your g-grandparents' names? You may be able to find them in the
1881 census.

Subject: [Mon] Seeking family history of the Brown's of Tredegar
HI,
I am living in Waterloo Ontario Canada and I an attempting to find some
history of the Brown family of Tredegar.
As far as I know my great grandfather and great grandmother came to Tredegar
from somewhere in Scotland on or about 1875 - 1880. They gave birth to my
grandfather - John/Jack Brown in the early 1880's. My great grandmother died
giving birth to my grandfather and my great grandfather died about 6 months
later.
My fathers name is Thomas John Brown born 4th July 1916 and my mothers name
is Margaret Ivy (Peggy) Brown nee Davies (O'Connor) born 21st August 1914.
Any information which would assist me in finding this history would be
greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Les Brown
