Hi Robert
You can purchase certificates from The Government Record Office online at
www.gro.gov.uk I have always found that this works well.

Lyn

Subject: [MON] Thank you re: David HINKIN[S] + Rhymney area RO question
Hi Jane, Robert and Ann,
Thank you very much for deciphering David Hinkin[s] birthplace on the 1871
census! I didn't respond earlier due to a family members health crisis.
I have now been able to track him as head of household in the 1851, 1861,
1871 [just now confirmed] and 1881 census'. Recently, I received his 1843
ML. David shows up in the 1841 census in his parents home [John
Henkin/Elizabeth nee Evans] in Carmarthen, CMN.
John and Elizabeth was born in 1776 in county, CMN, ~ 1776 and the line may
have originated in Llandeilo Fawr. I have both of their DC's.
David [ my 3X Great Grandfather] passed away in 1887 and his wife Sarah's
death just popped up on FreeBMD in 1865. They both passed away in Rhymney
and I want to get their DC's.
Which RO would I need write to in order to purchase these certificates?
Best wishes,
Robert
