Pretty sure that your church would be St. Illtyd. Have a look at the friends
of St. Illtyd site which mentions:
The priest responsible for the parish during the greater part of the 19th
Century was the Reverend James Hughes, and his grave can be found almost
opposite the main entrance of the church.
Looks like you may be just lucky.
