I have been finding family members on the "Welsh Newspapers Online" site,
however, all of them so far have been in Welsh languaage. I have used the various online
translators but their solution results in a very stilted translation. In addition they do
not translate into the proper gender. A translation of a death notice for a female results
in the gender translated as "he".
The site I am using is:
www.llgc.org.uk/ which is the Library of Wales. If you do a
search in all newspapers for "Ellen Price" , you will come up with a result on
the first page: Yn Marw o flaen Drws y Ty. The address is:
http://welshnewspapers.llgc.org.uk/en/page/view/3660301/ART36/ellen%20price
A somewhat shorter one is for Anne Morgans: Newspaper: Tarian Y Gweithiwr, 18 February,
1886, page 2 of 8, top of right hand column
address is:
http://welshnewspapers.llgc.org.uk/en/page/view/3113815
Appreciate any help on this I can get..................
