William RAMSEY,25,?salesman bound over for 2 years, when charged with fraudently
converting money on account of the Premier Clothing and supply company.
Edward SINFIELD of Cadoxton, Barry, aged 18, described as a milk roundsman was sent to
Borstal for 3 years on charges of breaking and entering two houses in Cardiff and
stealing. Detective-sergeant HOLDSWORTH, said SINFIELD'S correct name was William
Ronald PALFREY. He was regarded by police in Barry as a persistent thief.
Sidney Thomas DAWES,24, Joseph FORD,19, both labourers, were bound over on a charge of
breaking and entering the pavillion of Cardiff Athletic Club with intent to commit a
felony.
Judgement was deferred in the case of Edward Albert SHAW,28, a labourer with stealing a
bag containing various articles belonging to the Cardiff Police Athletic Club.
Miss Rosetta EVANS, headteacher of Alaw Infants School, Trealaw, Rhondda, retired on
Monday after 27 years in charge.
