I am also interested in Newtown. I have a distant relative that on her
tombstone it says, 'Episcopal Church Newton, North Wales'. Do you know
where this might be?

the OWEN, JONES and PARSONAGE lines have been in Newtown .
The only town called just Newtown in Wales is in the old county of
Montgomeryshire, is that the one you mean?
There is Cwmbran newtown in the old county of Monmouthshire but it is always
called Cwmbran newtown and never Newtown.
