You could try the Records office at Cwmbran. They will be able to tell
you if they have the records. However, the only way you can gain access
to a patient's records is by being a direct descendant of that patient
and then usually by showing that descendancy using documentation. I know
that my cousin in Glamorgan was able to find out a little about our
mutual grandfather who was a patient at Bridgend was by proof of
identity and a visit to the Records Office.
