Dear Nan,
Ty'n-y-graig Farm is still identified by name on modern large-scale Ordnance
Survey maps of the Crynant area, such as those available on the StreetMaps
website:
http://www.streetmap.co.uk/idld.srf?X=278720&Y=204287&A=Y&Z=1...
The link above points to an interactive OS Explorer map (1:25,000 scale)
centred on the farm.
Inputting the coordinates 278720, 204287 into a website such as
www.old-maps.co.uk will call up large scale late 19th century OS maps of the
same area.
Kind regards,
John

Hi Jon, and anyone on the list, my grandfather immigrated to the U.S. back
in the 20s. I have visited the area a few times to visit family and curious
if anyone remembers Tyn y Graig, that was near Crynant? My great uncle
lived there many years ago and I know it has been demolished, but would love
to hear stories or view a photo if anyone if familiar with it?
Many Thanks,
Nan
