Mr Justice HORRIDGE granted, in the Divorce Court on Tuesday, a decree of restitution of
the conjugal rights to Mrs Elizabeth Jane TANNER, Stacey-road, Cardiff, against her
husband, Alfred R.M. TANNER. There was no defence. The petitioner said she married the
respondent in January 1907, at the Registry Office, Pontypridd, and afterwards lived with
him in Stacey-road. She lived fairly happy with the respondent until July of last year,
when he left to take up employment in London, where she was to join him later. He spent a
week-end with her, and after that there was correspondence between them, in which she
asked him to make a home for her and the children. He did not do so, and had never
returned. In December last year she wrote him requesting him to provide a home, but he
had not done so.
