Hi Sue,
The birth registration going by the dates you mention was done in the six weeks and was
registered in the correct quarter, what some are not aware of is that birth registration
could be done up to a year after the birth of a child, this was not made public because
many would forget?to register births. There was no child benefit back then?as there is
today so the six week timescale continued and works in favour?for parents who place a
claim for child benefit.

Yes - her birthdate was April 21st and the certificate says "registered on
6th June." So may have been outside the 6 week limit for registration.

Sue don't forget that at that time registrations were done in
quarters, so
if her birth was registered in June, then it was registered between April
1st and June 30th.
