Thank you for the information. Most of my ancestors in Wales worked in the Iron Works but
I was interested in that In Tredegar prior to that you said it was mainly a few homesteads
and vast greenland, as at one time one of my relations owned horses and it never seemed to
fit in with that particular area. I will have to do some research into the Iron Works and
find out when they became operational against the time my ancestors lived there.

Hello Rita, I have no connection but regarding Monmouth that is a named
town and Monmouthshire was the historic County.
Tredegar is a town that mainly was industrial with local Iron works but
prior to this it was mainly the few homesteads scattered here and there and
vast greenland.
