Hi Graham,
The burial ground at St Ffwyst (St Faith) was recorded for Gwent FHS about
20 years ago. And the Society published this information on microfiche. At
present the Society is in the process of revisiting all the burial grounds
so that digital images of the graves and the inscriptions can be taken and
then put onto a CD with a transcription of the burial register for that
burial ground.
The old registers are NOT at the church they are at Gwent Archives, which is
closed at the moment because they are moving from Cwmbran to a brand new
state of the art facility in Ebbw Vale - when it is open it will be possible
to travel there by train!
If you would like more details of how to obtain the burial ground
information please contact me off list.

I have been told by my mother that my paternal Great Grand Parents,
George and Mary PHILLIPS, are both buried in the St Faith's graveyard in
Llanfoist. They died in 1933 & 1939 respectively (as far as I know at
present).
I am wondering if there is an on-line record of the burials there? If
not, are the records available at the Church? Whilst I subscribe to
findmypast.co.uk, they don't seem to have the records in their database.
