Alderman Thomas Watkins, senior member of the Monmouth Corporation died on Friday in his 90th year. He had been thirty five years in the Council, three times Mayor, and fifteen years an Alderman.
I just happened across it and had a recollection there was interest in this name and location on the list.

EDWIN EVANS, although born in Lower Baglan, West Glamorgan in 1888, was last
heard of living in Risca c.1979 with his daughter.
Unfortunately I don't know his wife's name, but do know that he had a least
two offspring, namely Mary and Llewellyn, who may still live in the area.
All help very much appreciated.

Hello Richard,
Possibly you could place an advert in the local newspaper to find the living
family, and also search for his death on Free BMD's.
If you were able to locate his date of death via BMD's, it would not reveal
to you his final resting place.
Regards Barbara

Barbara - Tell me about it. I have a grandmother with the same name, and the
same father's name. For the time being I'll stick with her marriage cert. as
proof. Hopefully her first marriage cert. will tie with it. It would have
been much easier if my paternal grandfather had stayed in Colwall, HEFS.,
and not walked down to Aberbargoed.
