Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Project Pioneer To Meet March 9
Members of the French Misplait, Misplay families and the German Schmidt and Schmelzle families are urged to attend the meeting on Saturday, March 9, at 10 a.m. in the meeting room of the Ste. Genevieve County Library. These families will be honored at the Jour de Fete on August 10 & 11, 2019.
Along with family information, family members also are urged to gather photos of their earliest ancestors to be included in the books.
Family information will be accepted at the meeting, and a review of the activities of Project Pioneer will be presented. It was announced at the February meeting that the committee has secured use of the City Council/City Court Meeting Room for the Project Pioneer gathering during Jour de Fete. This will be a one-day gathering on Saturday, August 10 only.
Meetings will continue on the second Saturday of each month through July with the final meeting set for July 27. Family books will be available Jour de Fete weekend.
