Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Project Pioneer To Begin New Season Oct. 8 It’s a new season for Ste. Genevieve Project Pioneer as thefirst meeting with the LaPorte (French) and Fischer/Fisher (German) families willbe held on Saturday, Oct. 8, at 10 a.m. at the Ste. Genevieve Library locatedin the Ste. Genevieve Community Center building on Highway 32.Members of these families are urged to gather and presenttheir family information at this meeting. Meetings will continue each month atthis location on the second Saturday, except for the December and January break.Meetings will resume on Feb. 11, 2017, and continue on the second Saturdaythrough July. The last meeting of the year will be held at the Jean BaptisteValle House at 10 a.m. where families will gather to celebrate during Jour deFete on Aug. 12-13, 2017.The schedule for the year includes a deadline for themajority of submitted information which is needed by the May meeting. Picturesmust be submitted by June 10, and the final information on the families must bein by mid-July.Anyone who wants to check family information already enteredin the books may do so by asking for the family book at Ste.
