Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Project Pioneers To Meet July 25 At J.B. Valle House
The final meeting of the season for Ste. Genevieve Project Pioneers with the DeRousse and Klein/Kline families will be on Saturday, July 25, at 10 a.m. at the Jean Baptiste Valle House at the corner of Main and Market Streets. This is also the location for the celebration of these families on Aug. 8 & 9 during Jour de Fete.
Those who want to be sure to get a book at the celebration should place an order now by calling Jean Pettus at 883-3925 or Bev Roth at 883-3885. One book with both families included will be printed this year, and the cost is $30 per cook. Some extra books will be printed, but anyone requesting a book once the extras are sold will need to wait for a second printing and, if needed, pay extra for mailing.
The committee is still seeking members of the Klein and DeRousse families to participate as servers, gift presenters and Eucharistic ministers for the Mass at 5 p.m. at the Church of Ste. Genevieve. Rev. Kevin Fausz, a member of the DeRousse family, will officiate at the Mass. All slots must be finalized at the next meeting.

Project Pioneers To Meet July 11 Meetings are winding down forfamilies who will be honored by Ste. Genevieve Project Pioneers this year. Thegroup will meet with the German Klein, Kline, Cline family and the FrenchDeRousse family, on Saturday, July 11, 10 a.m. at the Ozark Regional Library inthe Community Center building at 21388 Highway 32, Ste. Genevieve, Mo. This is the lastmeeting when new information will be accepted, and concentration after this willbe on corrections and final plans. One meeting on July 25 is all that remainsto wrap up this year’s efforts.Members of the DeRousse and Kleinfamilies are urged to attend and review information already posted. Presently, thecommittee is lining up family members who will participate in the family Massat the Church of Ste.
