Hopefully this will help the CCs who do not follow Board-L, or other
lists.
Please forward.
Holly Timm, National Coordinator, has established a committee to study the
current USGenWeb Project Bylaws to determine if revision is necessary.
That
committee is just beginning its work.
It is good sense for an organization to form a committee from time to
time,
to study the bylaws and make revision if necessary to help the
organization
work better and/or claify/strengthen statements contained in the
bylaws.
That is the task that has been assigned to us.
We need the input of the CCs who wish to make suggestions to the
committee.
The Project's foundation is the CCs and all voices must be given
the
opportunity to be heard.
Therefore, a website has been set up so that our work can be followed and
where you will find email links to send suggestions to the committee
members. When we are finished, our work will be submitted to the National
Coordinator (as the appointing authority), who will submit it to the
Advisory Board and ultimately to the general membership for
approval/disapproval.
