Hoping someone may have a suggestion for me here. I tried writing to
cp_sub(a)ev1.net of the USGenWeb project a couple days ago, but didn't get
any response (yet.)
Many, many moons ago (probably about 5 years now) I volunteered to
transcribe four counties in MN (1860 census.) I did quite a bit of work
on it for the first couple of counties, put the first shot of those
transcriptions online, then just sort of burned out on the project.
The two transribed 1860 censuses that I have are:
MN Carver Co.
http://www.rootsweb.com/~mncarver/census.htm
MN Faribault Co.
http://www.rootsweb.com/~mnfariba/1860/censindx.htm
Since that time I lost the hard drive on my original computer.
Therefore I don't have the CART files available to me any more. But I
*do* still have a copy of the transcription work online. I would like
to go back and finish this project, if at all possible. Is there a
genius somewhere that can figure out how to reverse engineer the files
back into the CART format.(?)
Kathy
