Hi Jo!
No, I do not yet have "South Bigwoods Cemetery". But I will see if I can
get a survey done! I will see if I can contact the sexton in charge, and
maybe see if there is a volunteer nearby.
The WPA did a survey around 1935 and had this to say about the Bigwoods
Cemetery: "Owned by Big Woods Lutheran congregation. Also an earlier
cemetery for this congregation on section 15 (Oak Park Twp) T155 R40
(should be 50), with 19 monuments. First burial was Carl A. Tondrum, age
3, 1895."
That suggests what you may be looking for is the Oak Park Twp. plot the
Bigwoods Lutheran church had. As you can see on the 1916 Minnesota Plat
map[1] Oak Park is is just south of Bigwoods Twp., and section 15 has
the cemetery clearly marked[2].
There is a South Bigwoods collection on Find-a-grave[3], if you trust
there data. The do not have this collection mapped, so I don't know if
it is the correct cemetery.

I don't know if this is the proper name for it, but do you have
South Big Woods Cemetery near Oslo ? Just a small one, no church, and last burial I
have is 1911.

We are up to 10 cemeteries now on the Marshall County site[1], the
latest additions being Viking Cemetery[2] and St. Petri Cemetery[3]. But
I thought I'd write a brief article to hopefully spark some feedback[4].
