Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
There's a ton at the MN Historical Center. They put many online as well:

Yes I support Denise moving us forward and getting an election on the
books. One thing I would like to comment on is someone's comment that
the duties of the SC were only "to maintain state pages, find new CC's
and help CCs" as well as one other duty I cannot recall at the moment,
as the only duties of the SC. That may have been true back in 1996
when this project started but the duties of an SC far exceed that
short list today.
One aspect of the duties of the new SC I would like to see is that
they spearhead a move to establish a set of rules for this project.
The expectations of the CCs and the SCs/ASCs have grown over the last
almost 20 years and a clear set of rules for us to abide by, voted in
by all of us, will make the future so much easier and productive.
Included in those rules should be checks and balances so that this
project never falls off the track again. Alas, I know that is down
the road a bit and first things first but I wanted to raise this issue
as we will be voting on a new SC to lead us in to a bright future.
As a member of the IAGenWeb project also, I offer to anyone in the
MNGenWeb project advice whenever they would like it. There are
several IAGenWeb members in the MNGenWeb and I know every last one of
them would be happy to share how the IAGenWeb project has received the
Family Tree Magazine award as one of the 75 best state sites for the
last......I believe it is 6 years now. We all want every USGenWeb
state to be worthy of such an award and together we can do it all!
