I am searching for info on Simon Beaudreau but every record I find has a
different spelling. In 1900 (Boudreau) he was living on McDougall Ave, in
Detroit. On the 1920 census his widow Nettie (Beaudrian)was living on McDougall
Avenue Detroit. His son Fred went by the last name Beaudry on one census record.
So I am trying to search for all info I can on McDougall Street, as the
spelling of the last name may be totally different than what I expect.
Simon died between 1900 and 1920, so I am trying to narrow it down by trying
to find if he was alive on the 1910 census. It might be that a census
indexer missed that entry. I would like to find his death certificate and see if
the names of his parents are given. My grandmother was a Beaudry and I want to
trace his ancestry.
Records say he was born in Ontario (or from Ontario), but with the name
Beaudreau it sound like he might of been born in Quebec. The most common spelling
is Boudreau.
He married Margaret Ann Thatcher 26 Sep 1861 in Wayne County, Michigan. He
married (2) Henriette Tahmadge about 1877.
I am looking for her death info also.
Thank you,
Dot
