I did a Google search for Hudson Motor Car Company and there were a lot of
hits. Hudson went out of business in the 1950's but there are a lot of
people still in love with the cars they made.
The first site had this message:
http://groups.msn.com/HudsonMotorCarCompany/_homepage.msnw?pgmarket=en-us
Welcome to the Hudson Family Photo Album - a web site dedicated to the fine
cars built by the Hudson Motor Car Company. Our aim is to show you factory
and other photos from the extensive Carl Weber Collection, members cars and
pictures from other sources. We encourage viewers who have Hudson, Essex or
Terraplane photos of any type to send them to us for this web site. We hope
you will enjoy browsing thru our little effort and visit some of the links
we are working on - such as a site for Hudson technical info featuring
manufacturers numbers for electrical and fuel system equipment (from our
Hudson, Essex, Terraplane General Specifications Handbook - we have these
for sale - email us at hesternec(a)yahoo.com for details.) and, at the moment,
a general information site featuring Hudson general info. This site may be
found under Hudson Technical Information.
Hope this will be helpful. Lorelei Maison Rockwell

Greetings from the "Land Down Under"

Hi to All,
I seek information please on the Hudson-Essex Motor Company of Detroit
in the period c1918-1930; or reference to an automobile museum in the
area.
A paternal cousin (once removed) was an engineer and export manager
there about that time.
J. Howard REES b. 1887 South Australia.
The 1920 census has him living at 170 East Grand Boulevard; and the 1930
at 1115 Nottingham Rd Grosse Pointe Park.
Seek hard and stay alert
