This is on
FamilySearch.org pilot search. It is definitely Thomas and is
also female. This is from the Michigan State records. Check the Midland
County, Michigan records. Since the record went from the county to the
state, it may have been recorded differently. I found my grandmother with
incorrect parents and when I viewed the entire page, saw that the clerk had
simply rewritten the parents above again.
These records were collected at the township level back then, and by the
time they reached the state, they were hand transcribed by different people
about five times. With poor ink and pennmanship, and tired clerks, this
kind of error was common.
This child may have died.
Go to the
FamilySearch.org site and under the pilot search you can enlarge
it nicely and clearly.
