Hi All,
Pam is back!
Make sure you check out
www.LivGenMI.com first & the MARDOS Memorial Library
in the Livingston County MI section
www.MemorialLibrary.com/MI/Livingston
first for virtually thousands and thousands of pages of data relating to the
county,
All of the county histories are on line and fully searchable, not just
images. Also all 3 plat books are on line, the 1875, 1895 & the 1915 are
there.
The Marriage & Death Indexes and tons of data from the Fowlerville Review.
There are tons of indexes of the various cemeteries from the county on line
and now that I am finally healthy after being hit by a red light runner I am
totally overhauling the entire section. People will be thrilled to see what
will be on line!
The military records are also on line for the county from WWI complete with
images where given. WWII is in the works. Also the Civil War information.
Having been the first & only site for Livingston County MI for 12 years I
have thousands of pages of data here and if there is something you are
looking for, please feel free to contact me if you are looking for
something. While I do not have it all on line yet, I probably have it all
here.
I also have tons of records from my dear friend Jan Beebe who passed away
several years ago and she wanted me to have all of her data.
If you are coming this way and need some local help in the county please let
me know and I will set aside time to take you around. I just had a guy from
Washington here for the day and we spent the whole day going to cemeteries,
the archives & the township where his family was from. He was the first
descendant from the Freeman family to return in 124 years. He was thrilled
with the things we found for him.
If you want to expand your search check out further parts of the Mardos
Memorial Library as there are thousands of pages of histories for other
states & cities. Also tons of maps including the 1895 Atlas
www.LivGenMI.com/1895 and soon another large atlas that people will be
thrilled with.
