Hi Kelvin,
I think unless you mistyped the town is Stockbridge. It is sort of half in
Livingston & half in Ingham counties. The Stockbridge historical society has
a large collection of data and are willing to help.
Pam
Keep in mind that in all things God, Family and Friends are more important
and life does not hinge on ANYONE getting ANYWHERE 5 minutes faster. I know,
having been hit by a red light runner and gone through 27 surgeries in 5
years and will never be good again. Stop & THINK before hurrying!!!!
As always, the cost for this information is for you to go out and give
someone a hug right now, whether they feel they need it or not because time
is so fleeting, they may not be there next time you have the urge. Believe
me this IS important, it happened to me.

I am seeking info on the BINDING clan that settled in Whiteoak and
Stockridge in Ingham County in 1850s onwards. James BINDING came from
Stogursey in Somerset, England and his wife Grace ( nee Stephens) came from
Ireland. They and their large family were in the area for a long time and
then family members moved away.
