(notice the above is a rootsweb sponsored site)
If you have a grandparent, parent, bro/sis or any relative that attended
any of the following schools, just send me the name, school, and year and
I will do a lookup for you.
1927-1928 St. Louis, Gratiot County
1937-1941 McBain High, Missaukee County
1945-1948 Byron High, Shiawassee County
1949 Imlay City High, Lapeer County
1950-1953 Dimondale High, Eaton County
1954-1957 Napoleon High, Jackson County
1966-1969 Bangor High, Van Buren County
I purchased the above photos from the estate of John W. Kingdon and
these pictures represent his career in education. He taught band and
coached football and basketball teams. He went from teacher to principal
to superintendent. He was in WW2 during 1942-1943-1944 and resumed
teaching in 1945 in Byron, Michigan. There are no pictures for the years
1958 through 1965 and I have no idea where he was those years. John
died in St. Louis Michigan in 2001. His 1st wife was Alice King and 2nd
wife was Helen Worden. Both wives predeceased him.
If anyone on this list was a student of or knew John W. Kingdon, I would like to
correspond with you.
