Hi All,
A brand new addition to the MARDOS Memorial Library has been put in the NY
section. For those of you who are not aware the MML has hundreds of on-line
books for you to read on line and enjoy the history or use in researching
family history. I have cross posted this message to a number of lists so
please delete any extras you get. <g> Many people who are now here in
Michigan came from families that came from New York originally.
For those of you who cannot get rich text messages the url is:

THE HISTORY OF <
http://www.usgennet.org/usa/ny/state/his/> NEW YORK STATE,
FROM ITS BEGINNINGS UNTIL 1927
The most definitive work on NY History out there has just been
completed by the team of Holice Young & Deb Axtman. They have worked for
years on this multiple book set that I happened on at an estate sale. I was
too chicken to start the huge set, so they agreed to do it, which I feel
genealogists researching in NY will soon be very happy. This will answer a
lot of questions for those searching NY history. It includes history,
biographies & genealogy.
The History of New York State published by Lewis Historical Publishing
Company, Inc., 1927. It consists of six volumes of data (over 3000 pages)
which should keep you using both search engines for a long time <g> Now if I
can convince them to do the IA, MI & NE same series?
Hope this helps in your research, watch for lots more. All the urls are
below.

Keep in mind that in all things God, Family and Friends are more important
and life does not hinge on ANYONE getting ANYWHERE 5 minutes faster, I know,
having been hit by a red light runner and have gone through 12 surgeries in
18 months and will never be good again.
As always, the cost for this information is for you to go out and give
someone a hug right now, whether they feel they need it or not because time
is so fleeting, they may not be there next time you have the urge. Believe
me this IS important, it happened to me.
