The next meeting of the French-Canadian Heritage Society of Michigan will be
held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 14
at the Burton Historical Collection, Detroit Public Library, 5201 Woodward
Avenue, Detroit, Michigan.
This is a joint meeting with the Detroit Society for Genealogical Research
(DSGR). Gail Moreau-DesHarnais, editor of
the French-Canadian Heritage Society of Michigan’s journal *Michigan’s
Habitant Heritage*, will speak about “Les Habitants
de Détroit, 1701-1763”. FCHSM members will be able to use the facilities of
the Burton Historical Collection at no charge
on this date, both before and after the meeting. Non-members attending this
meeting who live outside of Detroit must
purchase a daily use pass from the library in order to use this collection.
French-Canadian Heritage Society of Michigan meetings are open to the
